If you arrive with
an ATV or snowmobile, you only have to unload and
you are on the T'railways. The T'railways can be
used for walking, biking and cross country skiing
as well. The T'railways has been leased to the
Canadian Snowmobile Federation from Dec 15 to Apr
15 each year and will receive regular grooming,
so bring your snowmobile and enjoy a weekend of
fun.
The T'railways gives access to snow trails that
lead to the back country, where ice-fishing,
watching for caribou and outdoor boil-ups are the
order of the day. There are many remote cabins
along these trails where snowmobilers can stop
for a warm-up, a cup of tea and a little
conversation. We, the owners of Silver Maples,
have a log cabin on one of these trails. |
