		Our outdoor swimming pool has a deck and a surrounding enclosure, this is ideal for a refreshing dip or just lounging on the deck taking in the sun.


	The pool enclosure is of lattice to take advantage of a cooling sea breeze when the sun becomes too hot


	We also have a playground and horseshoe pits which provide activity and exercise for the young and old alike. There is a walking trail to the seashore where one can rest a moment or have a quiet snack while enjoying the saltwater breeze and listening to the many birds perched in the tall aspens lining the rippling brook that runs through the property.


	The seashore is a part of Clode Sound, a sheltered indraft of Bonavista Bay. It is used primarily for sailing, cruising and recreational cod-fishing. Bring your boat and discover the many inlets and coves of Bonavista Bay.


	Silver Maples is approximately 40 minutes from the Terra Nova River, which is used for swimming, kayaking, canoeing and salmon fishing. Terra Nova National Park is about 10 minutes away, with its adventures and beautiful scenery and many other places of interest. Twin Rivers Golf Course is about 8 minutes away, with an 18 hole course and and a 9 hole course Port Blandford, the western gateway to the Discovery Trail, is within an hours drive from such places as Trinity, Bonavista and Clarenville, with their historical features and attractions.
